Comprehensive oral health care
is of the utmost importance to the pediatric
dentists and staff of Smiles for the Future. This
philosophy is applied early in children.
Children should be seen by their first birthday for
an initial examination and then twice per year
thereafter. In that initial visit as well
as all subsequent visits, the staff and pediatric
dentists examine your children thoroughly to assess
their overall physical and emotional well-being.
Medical history, growth and development, risk for
cavities, and orthodontic concerns are reviewed.
Prevention of disease is another priority. We stress
good habits in diet and oral hygiene. As each
patient grows into adulthood, we expect him or her
to develop into a knowledgeable, healthy and
confident dental patient.
